The Business was first established in 1861 as George's boot shoe and legging warehouse.
1920's
In the 1920's the site was doubled in size.
After several generations of the George family running the business it was sold to C & J Clark in the 1950's. They successfully ran it until the present owner's Father bought it in 1969 and retired in 1989 when Robert Powell took over and has lead the business into stocking leading European comfort brands.
